Zherdev to…..

It’s been over a week since the NY Rangers walked away from Nikolai Zherdev’s salary arbitration ruling and well, still no results. I have seen reports (TSN.ca) saying he is expected to head to the KHL but I’m not so sure. I know there is interest from other NHL sources and I think it is where the 24 yr old belongs. Rumblings I’ve heard say potential moves could be to the Capitals, Sabres, and Predators. As noted in a past post I think this is a critical time in his career. He needs to land in a place he can be not only happy but productive. I think he would be a great addition to the Caps and could really turn his career around. I’ll keep you posted.
